Romney, de zuinige zwijger

Lord Romney is gestorven. Hij had vijfentwintig jaar lang een zitje in the House of Lords, maar was er nooit toe gekomen het woord te nemen:

"Yes, that's right. The bright ones are supposed to speak, and the others are supposed to support them. That's how it works here."
